Please be advised that the Tonto National Forest is implementing an area closure in portions of Tonto Basin, Globe and Mesa Ranger Districts due to the Black Fire. The purpose of this Order is to provide public health and safety due to firefighting operations and fire danger associated with the uncontrolled Black Fire on the Tonto National Forest. This Order will be effective on July 14, 2024, at 12 a.m., and shall remain in effect until September 1, 2024, at 6 p.m., or until rescinded. Forest Order No. 03-12-00-24-31.
