Crews continue to put out hot spots and improve the containment lines.
Repair work to areas damaged by the suppression efforts also continues.
The steep terrain within the Tuolumne River Canyon, the southern exposure crews are working on, and the hot and dry weather continues to be the most difficult challenges for firefighters.
