Forest Closure Order Update for the Alexander Mountain Fire area 08-09-2024

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (Aug 9, 2024) – The Roosevelt National Forest has issued an intial closure order for the area near the Alexander Mountain Fire on July 29, 2024. This closure was updated on August 9, 2024 and remains in place for public and firefighter safety. 

The area included within the closure order encompasses National Forest System lands near Highway 34, approximately 8.5 miles west of Loveland. Please see the closure order and map for details.
