Observed Fire Behavior or Significant Events for the Time Period Reported: Minimal smoldering, creeping, smoke and backing activity. Access to the fire on the rugged slopes of Ruby Mountain is difficult due to steep terrain and hazards.

Planned Actions

Continue to assess and prepare values and infrastructure in and around the Ruby fire planning area.

Projected Incident Activity

Minimal fire activity, although drier warmer conditions are forecasted. Fire growth anticipated primarily in the western and southern portions of the fire.

Conditions should remain cooler on Tuesday before warming and drying Wednesday and through the weekend. Friday currently looks to be the warmest and driest day of the week, and temperatures look to remain above average through the weekend.
