**Boulder Fire Daily Update **Smoke may be visible today as interior green fuel pockets in the Fawn Creek Drainage continue to smolder. Firefighters are assessing opportunities for firing operations near the 421E Road as weather, conditions, and resources allow. Firing operations strengthen control lines by reducing fuel loads and creating buffer zones that slow the fire’s progress.

***ATTENTION***The Great Basin Complex Incident Management Team 2 will host an in-person community meeting on the #Westmountaincomplex fires in Cascade, Idaho on Tuesday, August 13 at 7 p.m.

**WEST MOUNTAIN COMPLEX: Boulder, Snag, and Dollar Fires Update 08-13-2024**A Red Flag Warning is in effect for today. This warning was issued for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. Predicted storms have the potential to bring erratic gusts accompanied with rapid wind shifts.
