Current Status - The Speirs Fire is now 100 percent contained and remains at 715 acres.
Updates – Fire activity remains minimal, with little evidence of heat or smoke within the fire perimeter. Firefighters will continue to monitor and patrol the fire area.
Crews have finished development of the contingency line and are focusing on rehabilitation efforts. Heavy equipment will continue to be working in the area, completing restoration of areas disturbed during construction. It is anticipated this activity will last through the end of August for completion. The Greens Draw Road will remain closed for public use during this time.
Closures - The following roads and trails remain closed to public access.
