Planned Actions

With most of the fire contained, our focus will be on the uncontained perimeter in the southeastern portion. 

Projected Incident Activity

12 Hours: Interior fuels continue to burn on the southern portions of the fire

24 hours: Moderate fire behavior is expected; active heat in the interior

48 hours: Low fire behavior within the interior juniper stands. Smoldering around the remaining perimeter

72: Fuels remain dry. Smoldering and some open flame in the larger fuels

Anticipated after 72 hours: Smoldering

Monday wil bee the driest day of the period with humidity likely dipping into the single digits for some locations. Breezy afternoon and evening winds will once again be experienced around the region. Another low pressure system later in the week is expected to raise the relative humidity and may bring precipitation.
